The following report outlines a set of activities related to the grant “Strengthening the evidence-base for open government in developing countries”.
The main objective of the project has been to improve the quality and ambition of open data commitments, providing knowledge and tools that support developing countries to advance their open government reforms.
The project was designed to carry out a number of activities to meet the above objective by working through four main workstreams of the Open Government Partnership (OGP) Open Data Working Group (ODWG). The workstreams included: Principles; Measurement; Standards; and Capacity Building. Along with the above, an open call for proposals was designed to support those work-streams and resulted in specific and actionable research and related documentation.
