Many open data initiatives fail to deliver on their promises. How and why do some succeed? The OD4D program builds on the evidence of best practice of a network of local researchers that operates in more than 35 developing countries. As investment in data-driven solutions grow, there is a need to coordinate and collaborate on global initiatives such as the UN-supported Data Revolution.
